This year, I did something a little different with my knitting. Instead of putting a scarf on the bear or covering a light pole, I decided to make it look like this bear sculpture is knitting himself!

I had the idea this summer when I made this scarf. But life got busy, and I didn't get a chance to put it up. With this cold spell, I thought the time was right.

I replaced the knitting needles with a couple of black chopsticks from a friend and taped it to the bear's hands using packing tape.

When I went to display the art, I was surprised to see the bear already decorated with a red bow. I guess someone liked the red scarf I gave him last year and decided to give him red neck wear again this year.
